Of Celtic origin, the Bísaro pig is reared free-range in the countryside in a 100% natural environment. It is fed a traditional diet of chestnuts and cereals (barley, maize, wheat and rye). It is distinguished by its unmistakable flavour and the fine texture of its intramuscular fat, which gives it a marbled appearance and makes it tender and succulent.
