A lively attack with balanced acidity, excellent quality tannins, red fruits, spicy notes and a long, harmonious finish. Good complexity with an emphasis on red fruits and wild berries, notes of asparagus and artichokes, truffles and sous-bois, hints of dried fruit such as almonds, hazelnuts and figs and a good quality, well-integrated wood.
