Legend has it that on sunny days, at the western entrance to the Douro, in the city of Peso da Régua, we see girls of various ages next to the river and the train station, with plastic bags or baskets in hand, "singing" and inviting people to try Douro Rebuçados with Honey and Port Wine, and tradition proves the story.
