Quinta de la Rosa is located in the northern interior of Portugal, 100 kms from the city of Porto. It is located in the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region, in an 'A' quality grape area, on the right bank of the River Douro, near Pinhão.

It has belonged to the Bergqvist family since 1906. It currently has 55 hectares of vineyards and produces around 50,000 liters of Port and around 160,000 liters of table wine every year.
