1963 was an year with a common winter and a rainy and cold spring, a hot and dry summer but with some rainy days before the harvest. In September, the days were warm, being perfect for the harvest. Vigorous wines were made, with an amazing colour and strong tannins. These weather conditions were excellent for the production of this amazing Dalva Golden White 1963 (a mythical Vintage year!). He presents some greenish shades, complex flavours of dried fruits, fig jam and caramel. Has a long and silky aftertaste. A 50 cl bottle with an elegant appearance.

This White Port Wine has an aroma of candied orange, exotic resins, honey and a delicate touch of anise. On the palate, it is delicious and subtle with a long and vigorous taste. The bottle should be stored horizontally and stacked in the basement for many years without losing its freshness. It should be served fresh (12 and 13° C) and can be enjoyed with foie gras or fruit desserts.
