Ageing: A Wine from selected bacthes of the best years, aged on a average of 20 years in wooden casks. Vinification: A velvety and elegant style provided by the natural aging conditions of Taylor’s. Although best known for its legendary Vintage Port wines, Taylor’s is also one of the most respected producers of tawnies. This style of Port wine ages in old oak casks, each with approximately 630 litres of capacity. Over many years of aging, the wine gradually acquires its characteristic amber colour, developing slowly, opulent and complex flavours, that one the palate are soft and deliciously sweet, characteristic of this Port style.
