Quinta do Noval Harvest 1976
A Port is a wine produced with wine batches selected from a single harvest, and that have a great capacity for ageing. On average, a Harvest must be placed to agek in oak casks for at least seven years before being bottled. The Noval Harvest 1976 is a Port wine with a yellow-brown colour and with delicious citrus aromas. On the palate has quite rich and complex flavours, presenting the typical flavour of an old Port with the freshness and vigour of a younger Port.

This Port is produced from the grapes varieties of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Francesa, harvested in Quinta do Noval and Pinhã, which are of the most traditional of the Demarcated Douro Region. The Noval Harvest 1976 does not require decanting before serving, because it usually does not create deposit. We recommend serving this Port slightly fresh and with a good cheese, or a rich dessert. It can also be enjoyed by itself as an aperitif at the beginning of a meal. Winemaker: Antonio Agrellos. Prizes: 84 points – The Wine Advocate; Silver Medal-International Wine Challenge
