With a deep and intense red ruby colour, Pacheca Vintage 2012 presents an amazing intensity of red fruits aromas, perfectly combined with the complexity and elegance of the berries fragrances. On the palate is fresh with an intense flavour of black fruits. This 2012 Vintage is a Port of great structure and volume, with a long and irresistible finish, being possible to feel until the end the amazing flavours of raspberries and blackberries.

The 2012 year started with a very dry and cold winter weather. The sprouting began at the very first weeks of March, however the spring continued fresh and rainy in April and May, which led to a delay in the growth of the vines. In June and July, the weather warmed up, which has promoted the growth of the vegetation. Although, the berries and bunches ended up showing a small size than normal. The maturation occurred normally and the harvest began at 20th of September, with fruit of excellent quality.
The wine stayed in old national oak barrels for about a year. Its quality was approved in 2014 and considered excellent, being then designated as Vintage Port.
