With an intense purple color, almost opaque, Warre’s Vintage 2016 reveals complex floral aromas, especially of violet and rockrose. On the palate it stands out lovely notes of ripe black fruits and spices like nutmeg. It is a Port Wine with a great freshness, provided by a light acidity, which confers a harmonious experience and a long and elegant finish.

There were produced only 4250 units of this magnificent Port Wine. The Warre’s Vintage 2016 comes mainly from grapes of old vines at Quinta da Cavadinha in the Pinhão Valley and Quinta do Retiro Torto, which are complemented by the Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca varieties from Quinta da Telhada in the Upper Douro.
The combination of these varieties result in an elegant and intense Vintage, with complex aromas.
