Quinta do Vesuvio is one of the few properties in Douro that still uses traditional procedures, having the same classic granite lagares built in 1827.
Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage 2015 is the combination of the grapes varieties of Touriga Nacional, from one of the most emblematic from Douro, with some grapes of Touriga Franca and, to give an extra special touch to the batch, some grapes of Sousão.
The result is a vibrant red colour Port, with seductive aromas of violets and ripe berries, such as blackberries and blueberries. On the palate is elegant, full-bodied and with round tannins.
Quinta do Vesuvio produces, year after year, wines considered as some of Douro’s best, receiving numerous awards by renowned wine magazines such as Wine Spectator.
In 2013, limited units of Quinta do Vesuvio were produced, later bottled in May of 2015. The result is a simply magnificent Vintage.

These 2000 bottles represent only 8% of the Quinta production in the year of 1999, presenting itself as a high quality Vintage. To add even more emphasis to this Vintage, it was created an edition of 4, 5Lt (6 bottles)..
This is a Vintage Port for early consumption, a wine full of blackberry aromas and a floral touch; a second, very intense Fonseca's wine. A good alternative that you will wish to find out for yourself. Bottled in 2000
Croft 2003 Vintage Port
This Port is fragrant and possesses wild black fruit aroma and an exotic touch.
The aroma burst from the glass: blackberry, blueberry, violets, cassis and morning dew, all with a fantastic setting.
It is full-bodied, magnificent and majestic on the mouth, with a better definition and approach than ancient Port wine. Blackberry and blueberry flavours provide a mineral sense that crosses at the finish, with an imperceptible alcohol.
