Quinta do Crasto Finest Reserve Port Wine
The grapes used for this Port Wine production are carried from the vineyard to the cellar in plastic boxes which are strictly inspected and selected only those in excellent conditions.These are then slightly crushed and transferred to traditional stone tanks where they are “”stepped”” by foot. After it, in the fermentation, it is added wine spirits to give it the desired alcoholic degree and at the same time fortifying wine. Quinta do Crasto Finest Reserve is an intense ruby colour Port wine with complex aromas of red fruits and balsamic notes.
A very engaging and charming Port with a fantastic balance and round tannins. Provides a very elegant, fresh and persistent finish. Quinta do Crasto Finest Reserve is a wine that ages in oak barrels between 2 to 4 years before being bottled. We recommend to serve this Port at a temperature between 16° and 18° C as an appetizer before a meal or with walnuts, cheeses and other desserts. Prizes: 16 points in Revista de Vinhos Portugal.
