Vintage Port Wines are produced with wine batches from a single harvest and then aged in the bottle. The wine aged in bottle is quite more fruity and powerful than the wooden casks aged wines. The Niepoort Vintage 1960 presents a deep reddish colour with aromas of spices and nuts.
This Port was produced from the grapes varieties of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão and Tinta Roriz. Is an excellent wine to pair with Serra da Estrela cheese and desserts made with eggs like puddings or sponge cakes. A Vintage with fresh flavours and firm tructure. Winemaker: Dirk Niepoort
