Krohn Harvest 1999 Port
Harvest Port Wines are created from wine batches from a single harvest and then aged in oak barrels for more than seven years before being bottled. Krohn Harvest 1999 is a Port that over the time tends to acquire a brownish colour and complex aromas of nuts and hazelnuts, as weel as soft and silky flavours. It provides a long and persistent aftertaste.
This Port of the selected harvest year of 1999 was produced with grapes from the Vinhas Velhas, which are traditional from the Demarcated Douro Region and produce grapes of excellent quality, which is reflected in the amazing wine productions. Krohn Harvest 1999 is excellent to serve as an appetizer before a meal or even to pair with savory appetizers like a delicious Serra da Estrela cheese. Winemaker: Fernando Carneiro.
