Do not miss this opportunity to savour a great wine in a few years, celebrating the great moments of your, and of your familys and friends, life.
Aged for 24 months in oak casks and then in bottles for several years.
This is a wine that is more appreciated 10 to 15 years after the harvest.
Produced only with grapes from Fonsecas farms – Quinta de Santo António, Quinta do Cruzeiro and Quinta do Panascal from a single harvest in a particular year.
The grapes are trodden by foot in stone wine mills.
This Port has an impenetrable black colour and Fonsecas classic nose, dominated by luscious and pleasant fruitness, a dense, dark and powerful scent of blackberries and blackcurrants, which slowly release a heady mix of spicy and herbal aromas, seductive coffee and cocoa notes, prune hints and wild scents of gum cistus.
The thick and velvety tannins give the wine a voluptuous density, which easily integrates with a blackberry jam sumptuous infusion, dark chocolate and liquorice, which coats the palate.
The tannins are also present in the finish, which overflows with blackberry and currant flavours.
Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage 1998 is a Port wine created in Quinta's do Vesuvio most insufficient harvest ever. The bottle of this wine should be stored horizontally in a dark place and with a slightly fresh temperature. It presents an intense red colour with purple reflexions and wild berries and black cherries flavours. Enjoy this edition of 4, 5Lt (6 bottles) Vintage wine.
Dow's Quinta Sra. Da Ribeira Vintage 2012 is a wine with aroma of violets from the vineyards of Touriga Franca which are oriented to the South and in the year of its production reached a perfect ripeness. In this wine is still possible to find slight aromas of blackberry and currant, making it fragrant and fruity wine.
