Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage 2012 is a wine with a deep ruby colour with amazing purple shades. In terms of aroma is quite deep and with a great intensity of fruit, such as berries, rock rose and wild plants. On the palate this Port wine features flavours of fresh black fruits and well-integrated tannins, providing an amazing aftertaste of raspberries and cassis flavours.
Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage 2012 is a seductive and balanced wine that combines the depth and exuberance of Quinta do Panascal with most fruity aromas of Pinhão Valley. This Port was produced based on wines from Pinhão Valley, Quinta do Cruzeiro and Quinta de Santo António. A dry winter and a cool Spring meant that production was low, but with an aromatic intensity and an extraordinary freshness.
Croft 2009 Vintage Port
This Vintage Port was created in 2009, which will be remembered as a year of low yields, due, in part, to the small amount of fruit and the effects of a very dry ripening season.
The ripening season started with relatively cold weather that remained so until July.
However, August was intensely hot.
An early harvest granted wines a good acid balance and avoided over-ripening.
Fonseca Quinta do Panascal 1998 Vintage Port has a fruity flavour and is a very fragrant wine.
Medium-bodied wine, very well structured and that is ready to be savoured.
Book a few bottles in your wine cellar and enjoy its evolution.
Bottled in 2001
This is a Vintage Port for early consumption, a wine full of blackberry aromas and a floral touch; a second, very intense Fonseca's wine. A good alternative that you will wish to find out for yourself. Bottled in 2000
