The House C. da Silva wanted to refine the principles and Port Wine production methods by selecting the best wines from each harvest and the art of making the best batches that age in our wine cellars.
This wine presents intense aromas and flavours with hints of fruit jam, marmalade and spices. Over the years, the “Harvest” Ports evolve, acquiring flavours of dried fruits, cinnamon and coffee. The bottle should be stored in a cool, dark place, maintaing a horizontal position. This wine can be kept in the basement for more than 10 years without losing its freshness. Must be served slightly chilled (between 12 to 13C). Is a Port wine that goes well with any type of egg-based desserts (e.g. puddings) or dried fruits.
Warre’s Vintage 2007 is a Port where each component of the batches ages for 18 months in oak barrels. The wine is bottled in May of 2009, without any filtration or clarification. In a special edition of 6Lt you can now complete your wine cellar with this amazing Vintage
Quinta Senhora da Ribeira wine cellars are one the most modern of Douro, being combined with the best of traditional winemaking methods, developed during centuries. With a mystic perfume, in this wine stands out the notes of tobacco, herbs and spring fresh flowers is now avaiable in a 4, 5Lt (6 bottles) edition to celebrate a special moment.
A quite soft Vintage Port with a black colour, raspberries and plums aromas, a second, youthful Fonsecas wine that can be more appreciable if drunk until 2020.
