Dalva Tawny 30 Years Port
Dalva Tawny 30 Years rested in wood casks during various years, in which, the age mentioned on the bottle is the average of a ‘ blend ‘ of several «Harvest» Port wines. As this wine has aged for many years in wood, it will present a golden colour with greenish shades that will evolve until they reach a very complex fragrance, in which are enhanced the aromas of dried fruits, wood, spices and toasted.
This wine shows an intense red brick colour with a complex aromas of caramel, orange peel and dried fruits. On the palate, this wine is fat and creamy recalling the citrus fruit jams, tobacco, spices, providing a long and outstanding aftertaste. This wine should stay with the bottle remaining standing up in a cool, dark place. Besides this wine does not evolve in the bottle, it can be kept for about 10 years without losing any of its freshness. It is recommended to be served slightly cool (12 to 13° C) and it goes well with all type of egg based desserts or dried fruits especially almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, …).
