For a few years the Pisca vineyard was an essential part of the Niepoort Vintage wines, but in 2007 a small portion of this vineyard grapes was left aside and that wine was aged in casks, unlike what is usuall done that is aging in large barrels. This wine is then placed to age between two to three years before being bottled. Niepoort Vintage 2007 Pisca features a dense colour and fresh aroma with notes of dark fruits and chocolate.
