Niepoort Ruby is a fresh Porto wine, young and fruity with the flavor of the red berries, the wine doesn’t need a lot of ageing years, since the quality and the flavor of the wine dosent change. In avarage it takes this wine three years to age, it presents a drak red color and fresh and vibrant taste.

The grapes used for this Port Wine production are from old vines with low production in Douro Valley. It has origin in Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão and Tinta Roriz varieties. It is a wine that does not need to be decanted as it does not accumulat deposit at the bottom. This Port is recommended to be served after a good meal.

Cockburn’s Vintage 2015 Port

Cockburn's declared 2015 as a Vintage year, launching a magnificent Port Wine that simultaneously marks the bicentenary of the brand, which was founded in 1815.
This is only the second Vintage released by Cockburn's, therefore, succeeding the Vintage of 2011.
Since the brand was acquired by the Symington family, several renovations and investments have been made in order to recover the brand’s reputation, which was once considered as one of the main ones in the Douro.
Cockburn's Vintage 2015 reveals incredible aromas of black fruit like plums and delicate notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, it stands out soft flavours of red cherries. This is a Port of great vitality and with great concentration of fruit, well-structured and full bodied.

Unlike Niepoort The Junior Ruby that was a wine directed to a younger audience, Niepoort The Senior Tawny was created to attract an older crowd. The Senior Tawny is a wine that spends most of its time ageing in oak barrels, allowing a smooth and slight contact with oxygen, which gives origin to a slower oxidation over the years. It is a dark red brick colour wine with rich and full bodied aromas.

With a vibrant color and reddish nuances, this Port reveals delicate floral aromas and notes of ripe fruit, acquired from the excellent quality of the grapes; some notes of spices and nuts, aromas obtained during the aging in oak wood.
On the palate, it shows the classic, fresh and unmistakable style of the Ferreira House. An elegant and complex Port with a long and irresistible finish.
