Port, is no exception and should to be stored in a cool place, but not too cold and with low humidity. Port Wine is generally served at a temperature of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, with the exception of White and Tawny Port wines that can be savoured colder.
The glass in which to serve Port should be slightly smaller than the white wine glass, which must be narrower at the top. A glass of Port should not be served full, but up to half, thereby enabling the oxygenation of wine and a greater appreciation of the aroma and palate.
All circumstances are conducive to enjoy a Port Wine, however, served as an appetizer or after meals with desserts and chocolate is, indeed, much appreciated by its lovers and consumers in general.
