An attractive, fragrant, elegant and complex wine with a raspberry and fresh wild berries aromas.
This is a very elegant, delicate and complete wine with tobacco hints and wood notes, enormous depth, rich and lovely fruit and huge tannins.
It possesses a long finish.

YEAR NOTES
The 1997 winter and spring were relatively warm and dry.
In February and March, higher than normal temperatures caused the early onset of the buds, having the grape-berries formation been very good in all vineyards.
From flowering until September, there was frequent rain, which attenuated the season’s initial breakthrough and gave way to a period of more gradual ripening. The weather during the harvest was extremely hot and an extra effort was necessary to extend fermentation time.
The yields, however, was inferior by 30%, approximately.
The wine high quality was evident from the start with the must intensity, the good integration of spirit and the powerful and attractive aromas.

Tax included.
