Dow’s LBV 2009 37.5cl Port Wine
Dow’s LBV 2009 Port comes from two of the best farms in Douro Valley: Quinta do Bomfim, ancient vineyards, and Quinta Senhora da Ribeira, a mountain vineyard in Douro Superior. Its style is classic, very focused and filled with notes of spices, dark chocolate and intensely fruity hints, especially black cherries. All these flavors and aromas in a 37,5cl bottle that allows you to taste this wine in a quiet environment with your other half.
With an intense ruby colour and aromas of ripe dark fruits and slight spicy notes. A wine to drink slowly and in a good company. A single year wines age in oak casks between four and six years.
Vinification: The wine LBV -Late Bottled Vintage – from Dow’s ages 4 to 6 years in oak casks before being bottled. Having completed the aging process they are immediately ready to be appreciated.
