This wine was meant to be a Vintage Port Wine but when it was bottled and for lack of orders, the wine was stored longer than what had been planned. This wine ages in wood for about 4 to 6 years after the harvest. As a result of this long-lasting wood aging, Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is more full-bodied than Vintage Port Wines. It is a wine chosen by many because it is considered a good quality / price option that can be drinked immediately without being decanted. It is a wine with aromas of fruit, like raspberry, blackberry and wild berries. It is full bodied Port, with some notes of spices, a vegetable touch and some persistence at the end. It is a Port Wine that can be enjoyed immediately or be stored for 5 years in the bottle.
