Cockburn’s LBV 2007
LBV Ports are wines of a single year in which the quality of the grapes is excellent, being lately puten to age in oak barrels between four to six years so it reaches to an ideal maturity and then bottled.
The Cockburn’s 2007 LBV is a Port wine with an intense Ruby colour and very concentrated flavours of red and black fruits such as cherries and plums. On the palate is a wine with a balance flavour and acidity, with polished tannins that flow into a long and persistent aftertaste.

A Port produced from very old vine varieties of the Douro region, indicated if you serve it at a temperature between 15° C to 16° c. It is ideal to serve it at the end of a lunch or dinner with chocolate desserts or hard cheeses such as Cheddar or Goat cheese. A fantastic LBV that you might want to try and share with your friends.
Winemaker: Charles Symington and Ricardo Carvalho.
